Ion Exchange is not limited to the treatment of water but extends to a range of liquids that are raw materials in the food, dairy and beverage industry. These Ion Exchange systems utilise food grade resins to remove undesirable compounds and flavonoids that alter the taste and quality of the final product. Aquaplan is able to design full scale plants based on pilot laboratory scale testing. These Ion Exchange Vessels and its Regeneration System are designed according to the liquid that must be processed. Aquaplan is aligned with the standards used in the Food & Beverage Industry (EHEDG/FDA), not only for the main units but also the peripheral systems. Every piece of equipment that is selected or vessel and pipework that will be manufactured considers how the entire system may be Cleaned in Place (CIP).
